Maggie Pike

Maggie Pike is a writer and founder of, a website dedicated to street art and murals in the Bay Area. She started her career as many aspiring Art Historians; she got a BA from UC Santa Barbara in Art History focusing her studies on American Art from the 19th century to present. While getting her undergraduate degree she worked as a curatorial assistant for a public arts commission and wrote biographies about prominent artists for a local gallery. She decided to postpone her graduate work in London to develop a website focusing on Street Art in the Bay Area. Now she spends her days riding BART and MUNI and walking around San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose, looking for the latest wheat pastes and stencils to keep her website up to date. In addition to working on Gone Tomorrow SF, Maggie also is writes for Warholian as a corespondent.
